Sort of a Bay Area supergroup, Imperial Teen brings under the same Indie Rock umbrella former members of Faith No More, Sister Double Happiness, and Wrecks. Antic, inventive, and irreverent, the band is able to conjure forth unpredictable melodies that sometimes mesh beautifully in harmonic bliss. Other times, they gnash wickedly in infernal racket.
She goes to school in Washington
A major in self portraiture
Her poster in a record store
You meet her in a parking lot
And we should save ourselves
Blue sequins for the birthday girl
A beauty in a bridal gown
Her weakness for piano parts
She falls in love with everything
And we should save ourselves
